The elite DefenceX Shield turnout rug is a high specification rug that has been expertly crafted from a ballistic 1200D waterproof and ripstop material to offer ultimate protection. This 100g rug is perfect for when a mid to light layer is needed to protect your horse from the inclement weather. An innovative specially shaped tail flap offers ultimate coverage from rain and wind, detailed with reflective detailing, as well as on the body of the rug and neck to optimise visibility in low light conditions. The mid-rise, generous shoulder gusset allows for a full freedom of movement and padded wither has been expertly designed to guarantee comfort by aiding with alleviating pressure off the wither. The deep cut design is securely fastened with adjustable crossed surcingles with elasticated inserts and twin buckle clip chest fastenings for stability and to offer the perfect fit. Finished with the choice of wipe clean fillet string and adjustable leg straps, so the rug can be tailored to suit each individual horse.
